2% Formic Acid Solution (TAF 2FA) ships in a 10L (appx. 2.64 US Gal.) bladder cube and is pH formulated to compliment our Naphthol Green B Dye Solution (NGB1). When mixed 1:1 with our 2% Formic Acid Solution (TAF 2FA) it should achieve a 1% formic to ink mixture that is used for most TAPPI standard end line paper ink penetration sizing tests. We also supply higher acid concentrations in 10L bladder cubes as well, (20%,40%, and 60%) upon special request. Higher concentration acid solution info may be found on our TAF Support and Resources page. TAF 2FA can also be adjusted to be used with higher concentrates of Green B Dye for thicker sample testing.
